PWATTC Giant RR 2015

Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Club Table Tennis Club October 2015 Open non-sanctioned tournament to be held on October 18th 2015. At our club we strive to provide fun and exciting atmosphere for all our events and sessions.

Giant Round Robin Rules:

  1. Open to all players
  2. All participants are placed in groups of 6-9 players in descending order according to current or assigned rating.
  3. All matches will be 3 out of 5 games
  4. Cash prizes awarded to top group only. Other group winners will be awarded trophy or equipment

Round Robin competition enables players of all levels to play several matches regardless of whether they win or lose. USATT membership is not required to play in this tournament. Non-sanctioned. 1. Championship Event 2. Class B Event 3. Open Doubles Players will compete in a preliminary round of 6 or more players in a group, and then more if you advance to the final stage depending on your preliminary RR results. The top finishers will comprise the championship event and the bottom finishers will make up the Class B event .The final stage will be another RR followed by single elimination if needed.

Equipment: Only USATT approved equipment will be used. 12 Tournament style tables - Joola, Butterfly; 3 star Joola P balls.

Policies:
  • Tournament management may modify, combine, or cancel events based on the number of entries.
  • Round robin group sizes are determined on an event-by-event basis based on a number of factors (with the main determinant being the number of participants).
  • All USA Table Tennis and P&W Aircraft Table Tennis club rules and regulations apply.
  • Wear dark, solid colored shirts, tennis shoes or sneakers.
  • All events are best 3 out of 5 games, round robin followed by single elimination. The Open SE matches from the semi-finals will be 4 out of 7 games
  • All unrated players participating in a USATT rated event will be given an estimated rating for seeding purposes.
